M. Planning (Urban Design)
M. Landscape Architecture
As a qualified planner and landscape architect, Will is highly motivated, multi-faceted, and brings energy and perspective to projects. He understands the importance planning has on design, and ensures anything that is designed is also responsible.
Commencing his career in the private sector, Will has bolstered his firm understanding of systems, processes, policies, and inner workings across Local Government and State Government over the past 8 years.
Joining City Collective in 2020, Will leads our Planning portfolio, where he brings his technical knowledge, expertise, creative freedom, and Government knowledge to all facets of the business.
Will’s friendly approach and broad spectrum of thinking saw great outcomes at a state level, where he performed the role of Case Manager for development proposals exceeding $10m in value.
Further supporting this was his role as a delegate of the State Planning Commission, making recommendations on high-profile and often sensitive matters for decision.
Will is responsive, respected in the industry, and brings a ‘left of centre’ lense to work that comes before him. He prides himself on his deep-dives, which aim to get the best out of any project; no matter the scale.
His creativity and persuasive approach to difficult planning matters has resulted in many successes for clients.
